Like I said last week: my journalism teacher started a new photo project where she will tweet a prompt and we (her students) will answer with a photo using #PhotographIt.
Week Two’s quote: “The camera is a liar. It shows everything. It shows nothing. It reveals only what we want. Often, what we see is seen only from a window, moving past and then gone. One window. My window. If you had been here, chances are you would have seen things differently.”
For a second this boy looked like he was easily coasting down the street on skates and that was the moment the camera captured. If I had taken this this photo a second later the camera would have shown something entirely different- him almost falling.
