An Early Start on Fall Baking

Fall just so happens to be my favorite season of the year (very closely followed by winter) so the moment September 22 arrived, I was armed with canned pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice.

Since then, I’ve made pumpkin muffins, pumpkin bread, and a pumpkin cake, but no cookies! This Friday I was feeling particularly inspired (it just so happened to be 11 pm) so I made these little pumpkin cookies, following the recipe here, and salted caramel candy melts and fondant to decorate.
